“Ok ok, so I’m a musician as well. I know what you’re thinking, what can’t this guy do? I love playing my bass, the rascal is pure perfection by the engineers over at Fender. Seriously underappreciated instrument, the electric bass is totally rad. I like being able to take something otherwise unnoticeable, and put it into the stratosphere.“
"It depends on what you consider good. I love pop-punk so I play a whole lot of sixteenth notes, I’d say I’m pretty alright at that. Apart from that I just do my best.”
“Not a lot of artists play a sport like ice hockey, it’s very very rare. It makes me feel quite special actually!”
“Please don’t pull up my elite prospects”
“I didn’t always know that teaching was what I was meant to do, I always heard horror stories from the teachers I knew. Throughout high school I found myself constantly helping my classmates in my electronic arts classes. The fact of the matter is, I was good at teaching people, I enjoyed helping people, and they appreciated my help.”
“Sure it’s flashy to do all these cool branding jobs for huge companies, or design the merch for a huge pop star, but my heart is with inspiring the next generation of artists. I am going to work hard to give myself the biggest chance of success in the graphic design world, but teaching is in my blood. Thanks mom!”
“Obviously there are a ton of people in my life that have made me who I am and have gotten me to where I am standing currently, there aren’t many people in my life like Mr. Bowers though. I owe a lot to Mr. Bowers, after all he was my graphic design teacher for four years. I hope that when I get into teaching I can make an impact on someone like he did for me. He was someone that I could have the difficult conversations with, he was someone who would bring out the best in me every class, and even when I had turned my back and walked away from everything, he brought me back with open arms and helped to get me into the York College graphic design program, in which he had graduated from.’
